Thaddeus Frost House Historic District
An inventory form for the Thaddeus Frost House, located at 291 Brighton Street, was created during the Town's recently completed Historic Resources Survey. This effort led to the House being included on the List of Significant Buildings, which is regulated by the Demolition Delay Bylaw. As a result of public outreach efforts leading up to the 2017 Town Meeting and the readoption of the Demolition Delay Bylaw, the owner of the Thaddeus Frost House reached out to the Historic District Commission in May 2017, to ask that a new local historic district be established at 291 Brighton Street.
Since that time, the Historic District Commission has followed the Massachusetts Historical Commission's process for establishing new local historic districts.
