2018 Water Main Improvements

The National Weather Service is forecasting heavy rain – 2 to 4 inches – Friday into Saturday. This, combined with warming temperatures and melting snow, has the potential for flooding of urban areas, and possibly rivers and streams. In some areas, this could become problematic quickly. We are asking residents to check that storm drains and catch basins are clear to avoid flooding.

While the Quabbin Reservoir remains within normal operating range for this time of year, it is always important to practice water conservation wherever possible, particularly during long dry spells such as this. Here are some links to water saving tips you can share with your customers:

Public inquires can be directed to our Water Conservation line at (617) 242-SAVE.
