Due to the recent storm, beginning Monday, March 20 and until further notice, we will have no access to the Belmont High School Field House for evening activities.  Please keep checking back and as soon as high school teams are able to practice outside we will open the field house for pickleball and other events.
Important Payment Information
In an effort to protect the private information of residents, the only forms of payment accepted in the Recreation Dept. office are cash or check.  Credit cards may only be used online.  Additionally, no credit cards will be accepted for memberships or day passes at the Underwood Pool this summer.

To get started please create an account by going to this link, with all your household information. The data provided; emergency contacts, medical information, etc.,  will help us better serve you. This info will also be automatically placed into your registration forms.  We think you will find this new system much more user friendly as a family and we are thrilled at what it offers us as a Town Department.  You may then register for programs and check out online using Visa, MasterCard or Discover.  As with any online transaction, a non-refundable convenience fee will be charged.  The fee for each program will be displayed at checkout.

                                         Mission Statement

The Belmont Recreation Department provides an opportunity for each of the Town's residents to participate in a variety of enjoyable activities during their leisure. Department sponsored programs are selected, organized and staffed with the objective of providing appealing programs to satisfy the diverse interest of Belmont residents. The Department provides a comprehensive and balanced recreation program by:

  • Offering public recreation programs for all ages.
  • Assisting the Town's Department of Public Works in maintaining public playground, recreation areas and facilities.
  • Sponsoring special programs and events.
  • Assisting community groups in recreation oriented activities.
*All programs are subject to change or cancellation

*Refunds for specific programs are reviewed upon request. Membership fees are NOT refundable

*The Recreation Commission has ZERO TOLERANCE for misconduct by a participant or parent/guardian while at a Recreation Department program or facility.  Any person who willfully disregards Recreation Commission policies may be removed from the program and/or have their membership privileges revoked.  Actions of a violent or threatening nature will result in immediate removal from the program 
*Anyone who volunteers with a  Recreation Dept. programs MUST have a current CORI background check on file.
