EMERGENCY SHELTERS

Belmont has identified shelter locations in different areas of the town that may be opened during large scale emergencies. If home evacuations are warranted residents will be notified on what shelter(s) is open and accepting evacuees.  

Shelter locations are chosen to meet the specific needs of the given emergency.

Shelter information will be made available in the following methods:

• Emergency Alert System (local TV and radio stations)
