Town Clerk Meeting Posting Deadline for July 4th Holiday

Town Offices will be closed on Friday July 3^rd  in observance of Independence Day. 

All meetings to be held on Monday, July 6^th must be posted by Wednesday, July 1^st (before the time of the meeting). 

All meetings to be held on Tuesday, July 7^th must be posted by Thursday, July 2^nd (before the time of the meeting). 

The Open Meeting Law requirement of 48 hour posting does not include weekends or holidays. 

We check townclerk@belmont-ma.gov for meeting postings twice every business day at 9:00am and 2:00pm. 

If you email a posting after 2:00pm which must be posted that day, please alert us to it by calling 617-993-2600. 

Otherwise we will not see your posting until 9:00am the next business morning and the meeting will need to be rescheduled if there is less than 48 hours before it is scheduled.
