Belmont's 2nd Annual Gingerbread House Contest

Join us for Belmont's 2nd Annual Gingerbread House Contest. Everyone can participate in this festive event by either entering a gingerbread house or joining us on December 3rd to view the houses and vote for your favorites. Individuals or groups can enter and have fun building their gingerbread house at home and bring it to Belmont Center on December 3rd. We encourage people to get creative - it could be traditional, Belmont-focused or a colorful candy surprise. The use of kits is allowed. Individuals or groups can enter now until December 1st by signing up this week at Westcott Mercantile (63 Leonard Street). Prizes will be awarded. Be creative, get into the holiday spirit and perhaps start a new annual tradition.

Public viewing and voting will take place on December 3rd at the back function room at Trinktisch. There will be music and hot chocolate (donated from Quebrada Bakery). 

The 'entry fee' is a $10 donation that will go directly to the Belmont Food Pantry to support our community.

Now - December 1st at Westcott Mercantile. $10 entry donation will go to the Belmont Food Pantry. 

How it Works:

Have fun making you gingerbread house at home and bring it to Trinktisch in Belmont Center on December 3rd.

Event:

Will take place at the Function Room at Trinktisch.  Public viewing and voting will take place between noon - 4:00pm

Hot Cocoa:  Quebrada Bakery will be providing hot cocoa at the event for free, so people can sip, view and vote.

Prizes:  Awarded in three categories:  Best Overall, Most Delicious-looking and Most Creative. Each winning entry will get a $50 gift certificate to the Belmont Center store of their choice.
