Overview

The Cable Television Advisory Committee is a permanent committee established by the Selectmen and works actively to oversee the form of cable service provided in the Town.

Currently there are two companies, Verizon and Comcast, with franchise agreements to provide cable services in the Town of Belmont. These franchise agreements are re-negotiated every ten years under the oversight of this committee.
