Housing Production Plan

A Housing Production Plan (HPP) is a “proactive strategy for planning and development of affordable housing” per the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC). The Town of Belmont, with the help of Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), approved a Housing Needs Assessment and Housing Production Plan that offers an overview of current conditions and goals to address housing needs for the residents of Belmont. The HPP addresses housing needs from 2023-2028 through 14 unique strategies. Below is a table outlining these strategies.
