Camp ROAR: S.K.I.P.: Ages 5-6

Camp ROAR: S.K.I.P. is a traditional summer day camp experience. We will be having field trips this summer, campers will play sports and team games, utilize playgrounds, arts and crafts and special events.
We maintain a 1:5 counselor to campers ratio for children aged 5-6.

Camp ROAR: Cushing: Ages 7-9

Camp ROAR: Cushing is a traditional summer day camp experience. Campers will play sports, team games, utilize playgrounds, do arts and crafts, special events, go swimming and more.
We maintain a 1:10 counselor to campers ratio for children aged 7-9.
All campers will go to the Underwood Pool on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Camp Adventure: Ages 13-14

Welcome to our Camp Adventure program which offers 13 and 14 year old campers an opportunity to experience action packed field trips each day, ending each three day week of adventure at Canobie Lake or Kimball Farms.
We maintain a 2:10 counselor to campers ratio.
Each week we are planning on going swimming at a state park or beach. In order to comply with state law, we need each participant to take a Deep End Swim Test at the Underwood Pool. More information will be provided after registration.

Camp ROAR: C.I.T. Program: Ages 14-15

Camp ROAR: Counselor In Training (C.I.T.) Program at Camp Roar: SKIP (ages 5-6) is an exciting program for 14-15 year olds (13 year olds who are also rising 9th graders also qualify) who are interested in becoming camp counselors one day and a great opportunity to develop important leadership and teamwork skills.
Our program is designed to help prepare young adults for additional responsibility while still enjoying all that summer camp has to offer!
Participant time at camp qualifies for BHS required volunteer hours. Please contact the Belmont Recreation office for more information.
Participants must commit to the full two week sessions.
Theatre Camp

Join us for an exciting 2-week theatre camp where campers will dive into all aspects of the theatrical process.
From acting, directing, and stage design to costume creation and backstage management, this immersive experience covers it all. Throughout the camp, participants will collaborate with fellow campers and current Belmont High School Director, Erin Sullivan, to bring a live production to the stage. They'll learn essential skills such as script analysis, character development, movement, voice training, and how to work as a cohesive team. The camp with culminate in a final performance, where campers will showcase their hard work and creativity in front of an audience.
Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced performer, this camp is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, make lasting friendships, and experience the magic of theatre firsthand!

Join our Theatre Workshop Camp, where creativity and collaboration come to life!
Over the course of the week, participants will dive into the world of theatre, exploring everything from acting techniques to stagecraft. Through engaging workshops and hands-on learning, campers will work together to perform a one-act production, gaining invaluable experience in performance, directing, and production. By the end of the week, everyone will have had the chance to shine on stage and showcase their hard work in a live performance.
Whether you're a seasoned performer or new to the stage, this camp is the perfect opportunity to develop your skills and make lasting memories with fellow theatre enthusiasts.
