This four-week class will introduce swimmers to the basics of synchronized swimming. The class is led by Belmont’s own Yanna Hauck, a Jr. world champion and six time national champion. Your kids will learn the basic techniques of eggbeater (treading water), sculling, and boosts through structured drills, and put these skills together to create a fun, beginner-friendly routine. Parents are invited to attend the final class to watch the routine and see what their swimmers have learned! Come and enjoy the beautiful, challenging, and enchanting world of synchronized swimming. The class is for boys and girls ages 7 and up who are able to pass the deep end test. If after the class, the swimmers are interested in continuing with the sport, the coach can provide information and recommend joining teams in Cambridge and Andover.
