We have three ways of requesting a permit to use a park in Belmont:
Small party at a park: This is intended for birthday parties and small family gatherings. We have various picnic tables at our parks in town that you can reserve for this purpose. To reserve a picnic table, you must log into your Belmont Recreation account and request the rental. Request and Reserve Here.
One time special event request: This is intended for one time use for events roughly under 50 people. If the event is large or will have a large impact on the field, you may be asked to present your request to the Recreation Commission. If this is case, you must submit your request at a minimum of 30 days in advance. Please complete the Special Request Form here and return it to Recreation@belmont-ma.gov.
Seasonal, re-occurring use: This is intended for youth sports groups and other programmatic related permit. Please complete the Field Permit Form here and return it to Recreation@belmont-ma.gov.
