Animal Control Officer

The Animal Control Officer is a part of the Town of Belmont's Health Department and provides Animal Control services to the community. Belmont Animal Care and Control promotes public safety and the humane treatment of all domestic animals and wildlife, while encouraging responsible pet ownership through:

• Enforcement of local and state laws
• Public education

To protect the animals and public, emphasis is placed on the public's compliance to:

• Licensing
• Restraint laws
• Vaccination
