The design workshop (Charette) held on January 22nd was successful and the topical technical meetings (focus groups) the following morning were also well-attended. The next steps are as follows:
- Consultant Analysis - The Consultant for this project, Able.City, will synthesize and analyze the data collected at the workshop, focus groups, site visits, and secondary data collection.
- Planning Board Discussion and Outreach - The Planning Board will have this project as a standing agenda item in their regular meetings. The Board may also conduct one or more listening and information sessions for the Public.
- Preliminary Zoning - Over the next month, the Consultant will be developing an initial draft Form-Based Code zoning for the project area.
- Workshop #2 - The Consultant will be conducting a second workshop in March that will have an Open House format for the general public to introduce the draft zoning and get feedback.
