Grove St. Soccer Field Maintenance
Beginning the week of July 8 and until late August, the Grove St Soccer Field will be closed for routine maintenance
and there will be a temporary fence surrounding the field. If you would like to read more about this project, click here
This will have no effect on the use of the baseball fields or tennis courts.
We have some fun and exciting new programs this summer. Belmont Rec has partnered with Wicked Cool for Kids
to offer Lego Robotics and/or Rocket Science. For more description of the programs click here
Steve Nugent's Karate Program at the Beech St Center will continue through the summer.

The Belmont Recreation Department provides an opportunity for each of the Town's residents to participate in a variety of enjoyable activities during their leisure. Department sponsored programs are selected, organized and staffed with the objective of providing appealing programs to satisfy the diverse interest of Belmont residents. The Department provides a comprehensive and balanced recreation program by:
n Offering public recreation programs for all ages.
n Assisting the Town's Department of Public Works in maintaining public playground, recreation areas and facilities.
n Sponsoring special programs and events.
n Assisting community groups in recreation oriented activities.
*All programs are subject to change or cancellation
*The Recreation Commission has ZERO TOLERANCE for misconduct by a participant or parent while at a Recreation Dept. program or facility. Any person who willfully disregards Recreation Commission policy may be removed from the program and/or have their membership privileges revoked.
