Belmont Police Patrolmen's Association Charity Softball Tournament

Belmont Canine Police Officer Cory Taylor organized the Belmont Police Patrolmen's Association Charity Softball Tournament on September 22 & 23, 2018.

Ten teams participated in the charity event:

  • Belmont Police Department had 2 teams
  • Belmont Lions Club
  • Belmont Fire Department
  • Waltham Fire Department
  • Arlington DPW
  • Belmont DPW had 2 teams
  • Nationalgrid had 2 teams

The tournamnet was to benefit the Harvey Family; Brian, Michele, Lincoln & Winston

Winston Harvey is just 22 months old and was diagnosed with wilms tumor, a type of kidney cancer. June 14, 2018 Winston had to have his kidney removed due to cancer, after the surgery doctors found cancer in his lymph nodes, Winston is now receiveing chemo once a week.
