9. Historic District Commission Cases

Case Types:

Applications for Certificate of Appropriateness

Nearly all changes in the exterior appearance of a building or site located within a Local Historic District shall require Commission approval, in the form of a Certificate of Appropriateness issued by the Commission. More information on when a Certificate of Appropriateness is required can be found in the Rules and Regulations.

The required documentation is provided with the Application, and unless otherwise determined by the Commission must contain the following:

  1. Photographs
  2. Site Plan
  3. Floor Plans
  4. Roof Plan
  5. Elevations and Sections
  6. Detail Drawings
  7. Manufacturer's product literature and specifications
  8. Zoning Compliance/Non-Compliance
  9. Model (optional)
