Headquarters Station

Headquarters Station Apparatus and Equipment:
 
Belmont Fire Headquarters is located at 299 Trapelo Rd. between Cushing Sq. and Waverley Sq. Headquarters is home to the Department's administrative functions and is a working fire station that houses Engine 1, Rescue 1, and Car 3. Reserve Engine 4, Reserve Rescue 2, and the department's administrative vehicles are also garaged here when not in service.
 
Car 3:
 
 
Car 3 is a 2015 Ford Expedition that serves as the Shift Commander's Response Vehicle. This unit is manned at all times by a Fire Captain or other ranking officer. Photo Courtesy of MassFireTrucks.com
 
Engine 1
 
Engine 1 is a 2014 E-One Typhoon E-Max Pumper with a 1250 Gallon Per Minute (GPM) Pump. It is the primary engine at the Headquarters Station on Trapelo Road and is manned at all times by a crew of three or four firefighters. Photo Courtesy of MassFireTrucks.com
 
Engine 4
 
 
Engine 4 is a 2003 E-One Typhoon 1250 Gallon Per Minute (GPM) Pumper that served as Engine 1 from 2003 to 2015. It is now the secondary engine at Headquarters and is utilized in place of one of the frontline engines when they are out for maintenance. In addition to serving as a fully equipped spare, Engine 4 is also used for major emergencies, fire details, and training. Photo Courtesy of MassFireTrucks.com
 
Rescue 1
 
Rescue 1 is a 2012 Ford F-450 / Horton Ambulance. It serves as the Department's primary ambulance and is manned at all times by 2 firefighter / EMTs. 
 

Rescue 2

Rescue 2 is a 2007 Chevrolet / Horton Ambulance. It now serves as the Department's secondary ambulance and is staffed during special events, inclement weather, and major emergencies. Rescue 2 is also the back-up to Rescue 1 and is used as the primary ambulance if Rescue 1 needs to be taken out of service for maintenance. Photo Courtesy of MassFireTrucks.com
