Driveway Replacement or Expansion

Requirements

Replace Existing Driveway (no change to existing dimensions)

  • Provide photos showing existing driveway location
  • No Fee
  • Allow approximately 5 days for processing.
  • Upon approval from the Office of Planning and Building, a Street Opening Permit is required from DPW, First Floor Homer Building. 

Expand Existing Driveway (adding to existing dimensions)

  • Provide a Certified Plot Plan showing new driveway limits and zoning compliance.
  • Submit a check payable to “Town of Belmont” in the amount of $50.00.
  • Allow approximately 5 days for processing.
  • Upon approval from Office of Planning and Building, a Street Opening Permit is required from DPW, First Floor Homer Building.
