To Belmont Town Meeting Members,

Town Meeting Members are reminded  that in keeping with Belmont’s customary amendment policy, amendments for the Special Town Meeting of July 23^rd are due to the Town Clerk by Noon on Friday, July 18^th, the third business day prior to the Town Meeting session, at close of business.

Amendments must be in writing and may be submitted by email to townclerk@belmont-ma.gov or by hard copy to the Town Clerk at Town Hall. Please be certain to include:

• Article # and Title
• Your name and Precinct
• Motion to amend language (showing the exact text you want to change, delete or add)
• The final text that would be the result after your amendment (this is not required but very helpful)
• Avery brief (few sentences) explanation describing why you feel the amendment is required with the motion to amend. 

The League of Women Voters Warrant Briefing will take place July 22^nd at 7:30 by Remote Access Only. The Zoom access is on the flyer. The Briefing will be hosted by Warrant Committee Chair Paul Rickter.
