Dear Town Meeting Members,

Congratulations on the completion of another Annual Town Meeting. Please see below two brief updates from the Office of Planning and Building on more ways to get involved with projects happening around town.

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

Public Meeting - The Comprehensive Plan project has scheduled a first public meeting for Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the Beech Street Center. We hope that Town Meeting Members can join us for this important public kickoff meeting to learn about the Plan and find ways to further participate and give feedback. To learn more about it. We try to update the page frequently. On this page there is a link to an open public survey for the Plan. Please share your thoughts with us!

News Flash – We have also created a News Flash for direct news updates and information about the Comprehensive Plan. We encourage you to sign up. We also have News Flash items for Belmont Center and Brighton projects if you are interested. To do this, please follow these steps:

STEP 1: Go to the News Flash landing page. 

STEP 2: If you have already signed up for news flashes, sign in with Notify me Sign In button. If you haven’t, the page will ask you to sign up, which is required.

STEP 3: on the Notify Me page, scroll down to the bottom to see News Flashes.

STEP 4: See Belmont Comprehensive Plan item (or any item you want to subscribe to) and click the “Subscribe via Email) icon.

STEP 5: You will receive a confirmation email. Just respond to it and you’re all set.

BRIGHTON STREET SURVEY

We have opened up a public online survey for the Brighton Planning and Zoning project and we encourage you to share your thoughts.
