There will be two questions on the Local Election Ballot.
Question 1:
Shall the Town of Belmont be allowed to assess an additional $8,400,000 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purposes of supplementing the capital budget and the town and school operating budgets for the fiscal year beginning July first, two thousand and twenty-four?

*Due to the construction of a new Library Building, the polling location for Precinct One has changed. A card with details has been sent to all Precinct One voters in February.

Last Day to Register to Vote

If you wish to vote in the Local Election, you must register to vote at least 10 days before the election by Saturday, March 23, 2024:
  • by 5 PM for in-person requests,
  • by 11:59 PM for online requests, and
  • postmarked by Saturday, March 23, 2024 for mail-in requests.

Voter Registrations received after this date will be entered after the Election.
