Dance Program
The Belmont Recreation Department will be teaming up with dance instructor Kate Rouleau for two eight week sessions of dance at the Beech Street Center. Kate has been dancing since she was 2 years old and has been teaching since she was 15. She has studied Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical and Pointe. She is currently studying to be a dance movement therapist at Lesley University.
Ages: 5-9yr.
Cost: $80 per session
Session One: Mondays, October 24th– December 19th (no class Nov. 14th)
Session Two: Mondays, January 30, 2012- March 26,2012 (no class February 20th or March 5th)
Ages 5-6 4:00-5:00pm (Beginner Ballet/ Jazz Class)
Ages 7-9 5:00-6:00pm (Jazz One Class)
(Parents are encouraged to attend the last class to see what their children have learned)
Parents please send your children in appropriate clothes and footwear allowing your child to move freely while exploring the beginning levels of dance.
Leotard and tights are recommended but not required
