BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE SOFTBALL
For girls in grades 1-4 to begin learning the game of softball. Coaches pitch to the younger group and girls progress to the intermediate level and become more independent in the game. Each girl receives a team shirt and hat. This is a good opportunity for girls to meet others from different areas of Town and to form new friendships. Beginners league games are primarily played at the Chenery Middle School fields and Intermediate League games primarily at the Winn Brook School fields.

2012 Registration Fee: $60.
If after 4 pm on April 12: $80

Q. Which nights will my child play?
A. Kids play usually 2 nights a week between Monday and Thursday, the schedule varies week to week
Q. What time do games begin and how long do they last?
A. Games begin at 6 p.m. and last for about an hour and a half
Q. Where are the games played?
A. Most games are played at the Craig Field at the Chenery Middle School
Q. Who supervises the children?
A. Parent volunteers coach (Thank you)
Volunteers are needed for this program to help coach, tell us when you register if you can help. If you are registering online use the special accomodations section of the registration for placement preferences or coaching availability
All volunteers must have a CORI background check on file with the Recreation Dept.
A Recreation Department membership is NOT required for this program.
