The Town of Belmont will only accept the
Massachusetts Uniform Application for Plumbing or Gas work.
The Plumbing and Gas Inspector is a shared position with the Town of Watertown. NEW Office hours (effictive May 21, 2103) for the Inspector are Monday-Thursday from 12:30-1:30 pm and Friday from 10:30-11:30. He is available during that time to answer questions or schedule inspections. Inspections can also be scheduled by calling the Office of Community Development/ Plumbing & Gas Division at 617-993-2662. Inspections are conducted following office hours between 1:30-4:00 pm and 11:30-1:00 respectively.
Please note that Plumbing & Gas Permits are issued only to Commonwealth of Massachusetts Licensed Plumbers & Gas Fitters.
