The Capital Project Overview Committee was approved by Board of Selectmen 3/10/07.
MANDATE AND SCOPE
The Committee will examine all future capital projects to determine the most efficient use of land and buildings, including the possibility of combining two or more projects.
The Senior Center is exempted from this review.
COMPOSITION
The Selectmen will appoint no more than nine members, one of whom will represent the Planning Board and another from the Permanent Building Committee. Other members will have experience in planning, construction, finance, and/or familiarity with the structure and function of Town government.
TIME LINE
The committee will report to the Selectmen, Warrant Committee, Capital Budget Committee and Permanent Building Committee (Capital Project Planning Group) by October 1, 2007.
