The Town of Belmont received Federal stimulus funding for sewer and drainage projects. The Town recently contracted with the firm of Albanese D & S Inc. to construct sewer overflow mitigation facilities in the Winn Brook Area to alleviate sanitary sewer overflows and backups in the basements of homes in the area. The work began March 10, 2010 and is expected to continue through December 2010.
The Office of Community Development will provide residents with weekly updates of work to be performed in the area. Please continue to check the website on a regular basis.
