EMERGENCY ADOPTION ANIMALS HERE

Abigail is a very sweet and very gorgeous girl who is in desperate need of a savior.  This sweetheart was spotted wandering around the back roads of Granby, Ma for several weeks before she was picked up.  She is all alone at the Granby Pound and needs a rescue very soon as they are a small pound and only hold the dogs for the 10 day waiting period before they are Put To Sleep.  The Granby Animal Control officer has begged me to help him save this girl as he has fallen in love with her and can't stand the thought of having to Euthanize her.

Abigail was introduced to dogs and did okay with the dogs she was introduced to, though I would say either submissive dogs or very laid back dogs would be best with her.  She did very well with the food and toy testing with no tenseness or aggression shown and absolutely loves to be handled and touched.  She walks fair on a leash and seems to have moderate energy.  One of the volunteers at the pound stated she also knows "sit pretty" and likes to play with the toys with her and just wants some rubs and loving.  As you can see in the picture she absolutely loves getting side rubs and will close her eyes in pleasure when she is getting them.

If you know anyone who may be able to help this girl please let me know as her time is running out.

Thank you,
Maria O'Brien

Their beloved owner recently had a massive stroke.

Please give one—or both—of these healthy cats a home...

Before the family has them euthanized.

Tigger (pronounced Tee-ger) and Rainbow are very sad. The woman they adore, who took them in out of the cold ten years ago, recently had a stroke and can no longer care for herself or them. Stroke recovery is difficult enough; this kind woman will be devastated if her beloved companions have to be euthanized. Her children, who live out of state, have been unable to find a no-kill shelter with room

for the cats and will be leaving Massachusetts soon. When they go, Tigger and Rainbow will be put down. Please open your heart to one or both of these sweet girls, both healthy, agile 13 year olds. Give them a chance to live—and love again.

Demure Tigger is heartbroken.

Little Tigger has had it tough. With a cauliflower ear and a benign growth on her back (cosmetic, not health, issues), mean girls say she’s “ugly.” But her owner saw Tigger’s true beauty, her eagerness to give and receive love. Tigger doesn’t understand why her nice lady went away, and continues to search for her. A shy, sensitive soul, Tigger won't do well in a caged environment. Your TLC is just what she needs to purr again.

Sociable Rainbow misses the love and attention.

Sleek, black Rainbow would be the life of any party; she is outgoing and loves attention, which her owner used to lavish on her. Rainbow’s hoping and praying someone else will too.
